Selfie Booth
At Photo Ops on the map, find our brand new Selfie Booth! Various backdrops and props are there for your use. Staffed all day by a friendly witch or wizard to help you, and take photos with your device on request. The selfie booth has replaced greenscreen photography this year; the photo booth may return next year.
Norsefyre returns!
Catch astounding fire, acrobatic, and circus acts throughout each day of the Faire, courtesy of Omaha’s homegrown academy-trained professional circus troupe. Fire and circus acts are alternated, scheduled every hour starting at 11:30AM each day, with a break in the 2:30 timeslot to accommodate our Costume Contest. Catch up to three fire and three circus performances each day at the Omaha Potter Faire!
Norsefyre is a collaboration between artists, instructors, and performers which creates wonderful opportunities for the performing arts community. As well as inspiring and entertaining audiences all over the USA, Norsefyre has several touring academy instructors who travel and teach circus arts to aspiring performers and the casually interested alike.
Interactive costumed characters will be present throughout the Faire. Please School is out; rather than lengthy lessons, enjoy an informal interaction with the staff.
Keep in mind that some costumed characters may be other patrons of the Faire – please ask before taking photos. Our cast is more than happy to pose for pictures!
Children’s Activities
Activities include licensed Harry Potter™ coloring books and oversized checkers. Find them on and around the stage at the base of the pirate ship!
The Bellevue Berry Farm is also host to a plethora of playground equipment, a fully explorable pirate ship, castle, and more!
Creighton quidditch
Members of the Creighton University quidditch team will be on site teaching the rules of the real collegiate sport!
Learn how to play quidditch and ask real life players about their experiences on the quidditch pitch.
Most Creighton students are away during the summer; quidditch players will only be on site Sunday. On Saturday, you can still meet Professor Hitch in the Forbidding Forest for a game of Corndditch, and play a game of Quid Pitch on the gaming row!
Costume Contest
The Omaha Potter Faire hosts a costume contest each day at 2:15 PM on the Centaur Stage. Click here for prizes and rules.
Enchanted Anglia
Our two favorite ginger-haired wizards will be here all weekend with their enchanted Ford Anglia! Taking photos with the magical conveyance is free, but donations are graciously accepted for the care and upkeep of the car.
Archery & Games
Archery, Pigapult (just what it sounds like!), and now, the new Quid-Pitch game! The Bellevue Berry Farm provides a row of interactive entertainment in the Enchanted Forest. Archery and games cost $2-3 for 5 shots.
Dogwarts
Welcome to Dogwarts! The Omaha Corgi Crew joins us for both days of the Faire. Meet friendly corgi ambassadors, and contribute to a worthy cause! The Corgi Crew will be raising funds for the Little White Dog Rescue.
The Amazing Lindy
Join the Amazing Lindy for an astounding magic act on the Kelpie Stage at 2:00PM and 4:00PM each day!
